Each waffle iron features a unique collegiate design. It contains non-stick and removable griddle plates for easy clean-up. The griddle plates can be swapped between base units. The waffle iron also has power and ready indicator light for ease of use.

The waffle iron has a white exterior, and is approximately 3 pounds in weight. The waffle iron also has Intertek’s ETL mark for electrical safety.

Mom’s Classic Waffles

  • ½ cup of Milk
  • 1 cup of Flour
  • ¼ tsp Baking Soda
  • ¼ tsp Salt
  • ¾ cup Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  1. In a bowl, mix all of the dry ingredients together.
  2. Add the milk and egg to the dry ingredients.
  3. Pour batter into the waffle iron and cook normally.

Dad’s Game Day Waffles

  • ½ cup of Milk
  • 1 cup of Flour
  • ¼ tsp Baking Soda
  • ¼ tsp Salt
  • ¾ cup Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/4 cup Chocolate Chips
  • 1/4 cup Pecans, Walnuts or nuts of your choice
  1. Prepare Mom’s Classic Waffles batter.
  2. Add Chocolate Chips, and the nuts of your choice to the batter. Make sure to mix well.
  3. Pour batter into the waffle iron and cook normally.

Kate’s Gluten-Free Waffles

Be sure to check your labels on all ingredients for this recipe!

  • ½ cup of Milk
  • 1 cup of Gluten-Free Flour
  • ¼ tsp Gluten-Free Baking Soda
  • ¼ tsp Salt
  • ¼ cup white Sugar
  • ½ cup brown Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  1. In a bowl, mix all of the dry ingredients together.
  2. Add the milk and egg to the dry ingredients.
  3. Pour batter into the waffle iron and cook normally.

Catherine’s Belgian Waffles

Note: These are not your typical waffles! Instead, these waffles are intended as an afternoon wafer-like snack!

  • 4 cups Flour
  • 1 ¾ cups Butter
  • 1 ½ cup of Sugar
  • 6 Eggs
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • 2 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 tbsp Vanilla Pudding Powder
  • Dash of Salt
  1. Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat. Do NOT let the butter change color.
  2. In a mixer, add flour, sugar, baking powder, vanilla pudding powder, vanilla extract and salt.
  3. Mix together on low, adding eggs one by one to the dry ingredients. Mix for one minute.
  4. Add the butter to the mixture on low, and mix for one minute.
  5. Let cool in the refrigerator for at least one hour before cooking.
  6. Pour batter into the waffle iron and cook normally.

Rory’s Cinnamon Waffles

  • ½ cup Milk
  • 1 cup Flour
  • ¼ tsp Baking Soda
  • ¼ tsp Salt
  • ¾ cup Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 2 tbsp Cinnamon
  1. Prepare Mom’s Classic Waffle batter.
  2. Add the Cinnamon.
  3. Pour batter into the waffle iron and cook waffle normally.

Susie’s Whole Wheat Waffles

  • 1 cup Whole Wheat Flour
  • ½ cup Milk
  • ¼ tsp Baking Soda
  • ¼ tsp Salt
  • ¾ cup Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  1. In a bowl, mix all of the dry ingredients together.
  2. Add the milk and egg to the dry ingredients.
  3. Pour batter into the waffle iron and cook normally.

Curt’s Bacon Waffles

  • ½ cup Milk
  • 1 cup Flour
  • ¼ tsp Baking Soda
  • ¼ tsp Salt
  • ¾ cup Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 8-10 Strips of Bacon
  1. Prepare Mom’s Classic Waffles batter.
  2. Fry the bacon until crispy (we recommend Maple Bacon for added depth of flavor).
  3. Chop the bacon into small pieces, and then add into the batter. Make sure to mix well.
  4. Pour batter into the waffle iron and cook waffle normally.

Summer Strawberry Waffles

  • ½ cup Milk
  • 1 cup Flour
  • ¼ tsp Baking Soda
  • ¼ tsp Salt
  • ¾ cup Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 cup chopped Strawberries
  1. Prepare Mom’s Classic Waffles batter.
  2. Add strawberries to batter, fold in.
  3. Pour batter into the waffle iron and cook waffle normally.

Blueberry Waffles

  • ½ cup Milk
  • 1 cup Flour
  • ¼ tsp Baking Soda
  • ¼ tsp Salt
  • ¾ cup Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 cup Blueberries
  1. Prepare Mom’s Classic Waffles batter.
  2. Add blueberries to batter, fold in.
  3. Pour batter into the waffle iron and cook waffle normally.

College Themed Waffle Ice Cream Sandwiches

  • ½ cup Milk
  • 1 cup Flour
  • ¼ tsp Baking Soda
  • ¼ tsp Salt
  • ¾ cup Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  1. Prepare Mom’s Classic Waffles batter.
  2. Pour batter into the insignia in the middle of the waffle iron and cook waffle normally.
  3. Let waffle cool.
  4. Repeat step 2.
  5. Carefully cut out insignias.
  6. Place ice cream flavor of your choice on top of the first cut out waffle insignia, placing the second waffle insignia on the ice cream, creating college themed ice cream sandwich.
  7. Enjoy!
Use and Care
 

How to Use

-When using for the first time, wipe the surface of the plates with a soft, damp, lint-free cloth.

-Make sure the griddle plates are secured in the waffle maker.

-Use a non-stick cooking spray or brush with butter or oil for easiest removal of waffle.

-Fit the plug into the wall socket. When the indicator light turns from red to green, the waffle iron has reached optimum temperature.

-Prepare batter, and pour into the waffle maker.
-CAUTION: The heating plate will be very hot. Take care when filling the griddle plate.
-Close Waffle Maker.

-When waffle has become golden-brown (5-7 minutes depending on waffle recipe and consistency of batter) it is ready to eat.

-Close the lid to preserve the heat if you plan to bake another batch of waffles.

-Repeat and Enjoy!

-Allow the Waffle Maker to cool before handling.

-To remove the waffle plate, slide the clips forward and the plate will pop up for easy removal.


Care and Cleaning

-Be sure to unplug the waffle maker and allow it to cool before proceeding.

-The griddle plates of the waffle maker are removable for easy cleaning.

- DO NOT submerge in or expose the waffle maker to water. Instead, remove the plates, and clean by hand. Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaners. Do nor place griddle plates in dishwasher.

-Once sufficiently cooled, use a damp soft cloth to wipe down the plates. Never immerse the exterior of the unit in water or any other liquids.

-After the griddle plates have been removed and clean, place the plates back in your waffle maker.

-Store upright in a cool, dry place.

-Avoid placing heavy items on top of the waffle maker.
